AU Hotels

My girlfriend and I are visiting New York for 10 days in July. We havent been before and I wondering whether Greenwich is a convenient place to stay in relation to all the attractions ie Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Time Square etc.

We are trying to avoid staying in big hotels and have found a guest house called Abingdon which looks really quaint and good value. We are also looking at the Upper West Side but have found a lot of hotels either out of our price range or not very nice looking. I would have liked to be closer to Central Park so could anyone tell me would it be feasible to walk from Greenwich to there?

Any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Includes managing web sites for Chilen Police, the creation of a Palmtop project database on SQL Server 2005 and a website for a Chilen Police Department.
My task was to syncronise the data from the central server to a police officer and filter the data from the palmtop which uses fingerprints as an option, this web site include a lot of controls about Ajax, because it require to show a lot quantity of data, for this reason, the project has required to develop a structure on UML before to create it, for to determine the critical point and for optimize the data.
I have create a database and web site with my colleague from the UML schema to stored procedure

Two years with ********
Managing internal web sites for configuration of mobile phone tariffs and upgrade it on a demand with a new functionality such sending mail for certain event and report for statistic.
The principal task was migrate the application created on asp 3.0 and access on asp.net and sql server 2005.
This was a very responsables job because every day there was a new request for new functionality to implement on the web site, and i had never a possibilities to stop the service because there was 200 user every time connected to it.
I obtained new knowledge about to update a web site without stop the user, and I have learned how to manipulate a large quantity of data

One year with ********
I have created an internal web site with ASP.Net and SQL Server 2000 database for a project “sleeper account” that allows management of bank accounts and requests in a branch of a bank.
This project managed a large quantity of data from each branch, my duty was to create a procedure that allow to insert this information, without obstruct the internal connection of the sql server database, those procedures has occurred a lot of thread and optimization in sql server and stored procedures.
I have written the entire code for the web site and I had helped by my manager for optimize sql server

One year with Web ********
I have created a lot of web sites with Asp 3.0 and a lot of programs with Visual Studio .Net 2003 (such as hotel management and real estate businesses with client and a server program).
I have created also a project on a Palmtop for the salesperson that allows the person to receive new items and prices online, enabling the to send the order.
I was the lonely programmer in this company, and I have taken all the decision about the optimization and security about the web sites, those was been a good experience for encrease knowledge about client/server program such a e-commerce

One year ********
I have created a report with VB6 for a program relating to sales and support for new functionality on existing web sites with Asp 3.0.
For this company, I attained important experience in a Windows application for managing programs such as sales and booking.
I was in a team of five people, each people had a specific duty, sometimes I had taken the responsibilities to test the program, or support the development of the web sites

One year with ********
I have created many web sites with ASP and SQL Server Database. I had a possibilities to learn how to develop E-commerce web sites and maintaining it, and resolve a client/server problems.
In addition of support e-commerce, my main task was to support the development of an internal application with charting and reporting for internal statistics, for the charting I have used vb6 and internal component for managing the shapes and moving it on 3D, I have also supported to optimization of the controls on the windows form, because the form to visualize were fully of filtering controls

One year with ********
I have used VB6 and Access Database for this job experience
My main task was to create report for desktop programs with the vb6’s report tool.
I have also written the documentation about palmtop program for sales, here I have supported the development with modelling a windows form

Im going to japan soon and i am staying at the sakura hotel jimbocho…never been to japan before but one person in our group of 4 has bin 3 times so tour wise we r ok. is the sakura hotel jimbocho nice and clean?

Also, we have already purchased a on day JR kansai pass to go to kyoto for the day but we r unsure of the cheapest way to get around tokyo central for the week. is a suica or pasmo card worthwhile? or should i get both? we r getting the train from narita aswell. not sure how expensive it will be in total?

According to our journey the major activity (is) go to watch cherry flowers, one of my friend her schedule not match, so when we arrival there on April 17, the cherry flowers almost to fall off the trees. However recently weather very good, we may saw the sun everyday in LA, a lots of flowers are blooming in the spring and I can see green plants anywhere around me , I felt the temperature very good and felt quite comfortable.

Day1

First day we late to out, around 3pm leave the hotels and we get off the coach eat dinner, and then we arrival the hotel of Washington at 9pm, everything seem are smoothly and our moods are pretty good, unfortunately on the way to Washington Karina got carsick, she vomit in the coach and made the seats are dirty, even her cloths also have these dirty stuff. She vomit in the car three or four times, each time made me dirty and made me down , but I only bring 3 of my pants on the trip, so I need asked my sister borrow me her pants , I think next time go to trip I must prepare more pants, especially plastic bags.

Day 2

That day we go to Arlington National Cemetery, a lot of traveler at that place and saw many coach bring the pupils visit there, actually I don’t want to visit there because that place is Soldier’s cemetery, but the Cemetery very beautiful, such as a park. And then afternoon to go downtown visit the zoon I saw a panda at that soon.

Since car park charge very expensive so we give up to go visit another Zooms, then the next point is go to visit White House, we drive around there a circle, we can see white house very beautiful, at that moment we want to meet the U.S President Obama and one of my friend said that want to visit Obama’s house Lol, of course she very disappointed, because Obama not always at white house. We go thought that day’s schedule then go to hotel and swimming at the hotel, two of my friend play at the very happy and I was felt happy too. At night time we ate our dinner at Tyson that place near the resident, we are very enjoy the dinner time , we all near full one of my friend told me that she felt tire and want to sleep , so we eat the dinner very fast.

Day3

We get up at 10am, ate our breakfast at McDonald fast food shop, then we start go to central square, there have The president Lincolns and Washington president’s Memorial, and the war of Vietnam memorial, then we arrival the river side almost all the cherry flowers fall off, we following the rival side go to car park on the way we saw the grass every beautiful, the tress are dancing with the wind, the sunshine shying on the water, then the water like a mirror reflected with sparkles. On the way to the next viewpoint my friend sleep on the car, when the coach arrival the destination I shake her up go to walk street and see there, we spent this afternoon in that place. We eat dinner at the mall same as last night.

Day 4

We fished our breakfast then go to swimming pool, till to the noon we leave Washington the go to Philadelphia meet my ant and visit my friend and meet her family, we eat lunch in the china town, they told me that Philadelphia this area house price lower that New York, but felt very boring at here and I like live in crowed city like New York, but on the way back to home we meet traffic jam. Arrival home already at 10pm.

Conclusion: We all satisfield this trip in USA.

hey guys, just wondering where “london central” is. What streets does it encompass ect? Also what are some good hotels that are in London central and are near transport. Thanks heaps
I am from Australia and its for a holiday and I need to get to and from my conference in London central so I need to be near public transport.
