hey is there anyone out there that possibly works for a hotel chain or knows someone that does that can help me get a good rate/deal on a hotel in Manhattan, NY, USA. I am traveling there with my hubby and another couple, we need 2 rooms and we are traveling Sept. 13-18…we are only finding really expensive like $350 a night minimum..I tried all the online hotel sites, hotel.com, orbitz, priceline..etc… PLEASE HELP IF U CAN.. THANKS.. NOT ASKING FOR A FREE ROOM JUST A DECENT RATE… we are actually looking to stay south of Central Park…

You can find good deals because this compares hotel prices from 30 best travel websites.
i always use craigslist vacation rentals–you get a much better rate ’cause your dealing with actually people and not a hotel chain–they’ll work with you more…often entire apartment units are available for cheaper then a small hotel room
