Will it be dangerous going out at night in Harlem or getting home from dinner, etc?

Which one would you stay at? What is the best for sight seeing? Is Harlem a long way from all the touristy things in New York? Such as, Broadway, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Empire State Building, etc

Harlem is from 5th street to 105 in Manhattan is a neiborghood mixed with puertorricans and black people . Nice to go and see and also eat. Good luck.
Thanks to the subway system nowhere is far from the touristy bits I haven’t stayed in Harlem but have been through like most places in The city it is up and coming .Just like any city if you stick to the main roads you aren’t going to run into an trouble .The subway is now safe and clean throughout
harlem changed a lot. the white yuppie and liberals moved into parts and have tried to take over the neighborhood. but remember harlem is still harlem. certain parts you wanna stay away from.
Harlem is cool. Theres the Apollo Theather, and a lot of other stuff. But the only thing I hate is that some dangerous trains go through there. But not all of the train incidents happen in Harlem.
