On Gta iv how to you buy hotels,houses or apartments?

hi i was just wondering how you buy either a house,hotel or a apartment

You cannot. The only way to gain safe houses are to progress throughout the missions.

In Need of Help

Unfortunately, you cant actually buy homes or apartments like you did in previous GTA games. You can only gain new safe houses through the story mode because they actually play a role in the story. For me, buying the safe-houses were a fun thing to do in GTA san andreas but GTA 4 is still a great game.
